| It's almost eery how similar our situations are. I'm fairly confident I am going to have to try to sell. It does make sense in the strictly black and white sense which is how she sees it. We are almost the same as you with debt as well minus the mortgage. We just have the one credit card and the Kia payment so we're not doing too bad. It would just be nice to get rid of the credit card payment altogether. The lack of insurance, tags, etc would be nice as well. Not only that but I found out today the Navy does not pay to ship vehicles unless it is overseas. This means I will have to figure out how to get 3 cars to VA. If we sell the Z, we can drive the Dodge & Kia and get reimbursed for up to 2 vehicles (mileage, gas, etc). I do feel like my extracurricular happiness is slowly being sucked away as she tries to mold me into her idea of the ideal family man (her dad). Her dad was a car enthusiast who sold his Mustang for a family car and held off 18 years before getting another sports car. First of all, I do not want to be compared to her dad all my life. That being said, it only makes me wonder what else will attempt to be changed later on after the "happiness" of the car being gone fades away. My intent is not necessarily to make my wife look evil here. I know a lot of this spawned with my actions years ago. I just bring it up because I know I am not the only one in this scenario. I'll definitely take a look at those links you gave. I appreciate it. Knowing how similar our situations are actually brings me some comfort here because you've already been through it and are still in it.

I don't see what everyone is so worried about anyway. If someone else wants to perform a modification that you believe will destroy the value, cheapen the Z32 or whatever you can't sit on your hands about, wouldn't that make your tastefully-modified, white bread Z32 more rare and valuable? -- BradZ (FL) on December 23, 2007 at 12:19 PM The unicorn gets its revenge... -- Scotts94z32 on September 19, 2006 at 11:12 AM CLICK FOR DETAILS ABOUT BUYING A ZAMA POSTER!!!!
